Abstract
This paper introduces the design of automatic tool changer of XKA5032A/C numerical control vertical-knee milling machines. The automatic tool changer is composed of tool storage and a tool changing-manipulator. The tool storage which adopts bat batch shape structure is mounted on the vertical post of XKA5032A/C numerical control vertical-knee milling machines. The capacity of the tool storage is six and the method of Choose knife is Alignment. The tool changing-manipulator adopts the two arms manipulator of turn-over type.
